Brookwater has been in business for more than seven years and has developed a reputation of quality and excellence in the marketplace. All facets of Brookwater are based upon this same commitment to quality, honesty, and integrity in everything they do.
Brookwater Construction, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Jeff Burns when the demand for his skill and expertise reached a level which precluded his continuing as a union carpenter foreman. Jeff and another associate developed the rough carpentry division of a Butler (WI) construction company. He grew this successful aspect of their business for many years. Jeff has built hundreds of homes, businesses, and developments in over twenty years in the industry. As a field representative for a national home builder, he trained and recruited builders and their crews. He educated builders across 10 states in the processes needed to assemble a properly constructed structure. He was also enlisted as an expert witness in a number of construction related legal actions. Outside of this extensive experience, Jeff has worked for more than a decade with his own crews building homes of all sizes, from remodels to mansions.
The other principal of Brookwater is Anna Burns. She has worked in a very diverse arena covering all aspects of the construction industry. As a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering with dual Bachelor of Science in both Construction Management and Architectural / Structural Engineering, Anna has a vast background of knowledge. Anna has worked for Precast Engineering Company in Brookfield (WI) working to help develop projects such as the new Lambeau Field and Solder Field renovations and many others. She worked for a large Milwaukee based HVAC and plumbing contractor to gain a better knowledge of integral systems in buildings. Anna worked for Mandel Developments for several years as the head of the fit-and-finish department for various high-end multi-family condominium projects. Anna has also worked as a land surveyor, running a large-scale city survey project in addition to multiple project layouts and civil jobs. Anna has been working as a commercial construction project manager for the past nine years. She has worked on a very diverse range of projects from General Mitchell International Airport to the Charles Horowitz Planetarium, from Nebraska to New York, with many multi-million dollar projects and small service oriented projects of all shapes and sizes.
